Role Responsibilities
- Lead customer presentations
- System staging
- Complete system documentation
- Live system upgrades
- Ensuring the integrity of the architecture/design
- Carry out field engineering duties during a radio system upgrade cycle
- Upgrade/deploy various devices including network gear, Windows‑based devices, virtual machines and Motorola proprietary devices
- Act as a customer‑facing technical resource throughout the upgrade effort
- Travel to customer locations across Canada (50–75% travel)
Desired Knowledge / Skills
- Experience/knowledge in radio communication systems, radio propagation, RF, wireless or broadband/LTE
- Experience working with Project25 products (trunked and conventional)
- Experience with IP networking, network design methodologies, and troubleshooting (Ethernet, TCP/IP, L2/L3, MPLS)
