Overview

System Design Engineer responsible for conceiving the system and signaling, performing analysis, modelling and simulation to specify railway control systems based on communication. Develop and define system design features to meet customer requirements and verify their alignment with product system technical requirements. Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to obtain design acceptance. The incumbent is accountable for performing the design and can work autonomously within defined cost and schedule limits; when needed, guidance from more senior team members may be sought for very complex activities. The work is typically defined by the Work Package Manager and assigned to system engineers. The System Design Engineer typically works with a team of engineers to define project requirements and design under the technical supervision of the System Design Lead.
