AWS has successfully launched the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC). To spearhead this initiative, we are seeking experienced systems engineers with a strong background in automation and operations.
As part of the AWS Managed Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in building, operating and evolving the teams that deliver high‑availability AWS services for EU customers.
Responsibilities
Oversee ongoing operations and expansion of the ESC, working closely with global AWS teams.
Collaborate with technology leaders and contribute to operational improvements around availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency.
Participate in 24x7 on‑call rotations to resolve incidents and ensure fault‑tolerant systems.
Develop and test automation scripts to enhance workflows and system reliability.
Provide training and knowledge sharing about the European Sovereign Cloud to service teams.
