Systems Engineer - Linux (12-month contract)

The Systems Engineer role is responsible for the management and support of various infrastructure technologies on distributed system platforms. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain technical solutions based on business requirements and the evaluation of modern information technology trends and practices, utilizing a strong automation, programmatic, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach to systems management.

Requirements include awareness of modern practices such as Platform Engineering and the use of Generative AI tools (Copilot, Claude) to augment engineering velocity. The position reports to the Senior Manager, Infrastructure Systems Engineering. Job Location: Hybrid (2‑3 days in office) in Toronto, ON.
