Systems Engineer (Aix) - Ibm Power Systems

This role is office-based in Mexico.
The role requires professional fluency in English (spoken and written).
We are seeking an experienced IBM AIX Systems Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize AIX-based infrastructure in a mission-critical enterprise environment.
This role requires deep expertise in IBM Power Systems, AIX OS administration, and associated technologies such as PowerVM, HACMP/PowerHA, and storage integration.
The ideal candidate will ensure system reliability, performance, and security while supporting business-critical applications.
Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions: Technical (40%) Perform system installations, upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
Manage logical partitions (LPARs) using PowerVM/VIOS.
Implement and support high availability solutions (PowerHA / HACMP).
Manage storage integration (SAN, NPIV, MPIO) and backup solutions.
