Job Summary
The Systems Analyst is responsible for eliciting system requirements from the customer and then analyzing those requirements to define a concept for the solution. The Systems Analyst will also perform Quality Assurance activities to ensure that the solution will meet the requirements.
Job Duties
Analysis & Design
- Uses prototyping or other simulation techniques to evaluate and confirm requirements.
- Creates and applies analysis documents as per departmental standards, guidelines, and practices to document the structure and function of systems.
- Analyzes the requirements for purchased software to determine how it should be configured and customized.
- Participates in quality assurance activities, such as reviews.
