Oracle Cerner is excited to hire a System Engineer I. This is a Tier 2 or L2 Production Support role. As a System Engineer I, you will perform troubleshooting investigations reviewing Issues by gathering information, using troubleshooting tools, shadowing end users, and testing workflows internally and externally. You will perform troubleshooting investigations via backend methods by capturing log files, querying tables, updating database fields, and updating/cycling servers. You may also need to review scripts written in SQL, System Integration and Perform Sanity Checks. You will communicate effectively verbally and in writing to clients and internal stakeholders. You will document notes, activities, resolutions, and other knowledge articles throughout the lifecycle of an investigation.
