System Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary

Reporting to the Director, Safety, this position supports aviation safety at Porter Airlines through oversight of its Quality Assurance Program. System Quality Assurance monitors compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and defined operational needs; evaluates the effectiveness of safety risk controls.

Responsibilities

• Assure compliance with all regulatory requirements for aviation quality assurance and with the IATA operational safety audit program.
• Lead the company's IOSA conformance team in its preparations for regular renewal audits.
• In concert with the company's SMS program, make recommendations for the selection of audit projects based on company safety performance; administer the SQA audit schedule.
• Disseminate information as appropriate to ensure organizational awareness of relevant quality issues and results.
