System Engineer for Electronic Equipment

Job Overview

Airbus CRISA (Airbus Defense & Space) is seeking a Project Systems Engineer in Tres Cantos (Madrid area) to support Space business areas such as Launchers, Earth Exploration (Copernicus), Space Exploration (Artemis), and Commercial (Telecommunications Satellites). The Engineer will join a dynamic technical team focused on product innovation, consolidation, and continuous performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and design electronic units for flight equipment, ensuring delivery in line with project schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
• Lead the technical discussions with the customer from the Negotiation Phase through in-flight operations, documenting requirements and risks.
• Define the architecture of the Electronic Unit, co‑engineering with stakeholders (FPGA, Mechanical, Thermal, Validation, Materials, Processes, EEE, Radiation).
