Job Responsibilities
The Swimming Instructor is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and instruction activities associated with a 82‑foot‑long by 63‑foot‑wide by 12‑foot‑deep swimming pool. The position ensures the safety of patrons, compliance with Navy guidelines, and delivery of high‑quality swimming programs.
- Facility Operation and Maintenance
- Operate and maintain the swimming pool in accordance with NAVMED P‑5010‑4, NAVSUPPFAC instructions, CNICINST 1710.3, and other applicable Navy instructions and manuals.
- Ensure pool cleanliness, proper filtration, and water quality through regular monitoring and maintenance.
- Inspect pool equipment, address maintenance concerns, and coordinate repairs in a timely manner.
