We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to fulfill the role of Survey Party Chief. The successful candidate will work closely with the survey party crew chief on diverse projects across South Carolina, including DOT, commercial, federal, government, industrial, power companies, and warehouses.
Responsibilities
+ Locate, review, and research job locations for identifying landmarks, physical objects, and significant land changes affecting the survey.
+ Supervise the survey crew, evaluate priorities, and coordinate and organize work efforts.
+ Ensure high standards of work performance and derive necessary field calculations from completed work.
+ Oversee the maintenance of instruments and equipment.
+ Ensure collected data such as angles and distances are accurate and conform to regulations and standards.
