Overview
- Manage a portfolio of surety files, typically consisting of medium-sized contractors
- Analyze and authorize surety requests in accordance with the analyst’s authority and established procedures
- Prepare documentation and make recommendations for material projects
- Conduct annual reviews, risk analyses and financial updates for contractor files to establish bonding limits
- Arrange meetings with brokers and contractors
- Strengthen business relationships
- Participate in construction and surety industry events
- Communicate and negotiate the terms and conditions of contractor files
- Analyze new surety submissions in accordance with established procedures
- Handle supplier payment requests and/or beneficiary claims in collaboration with the claims/indemnity department
- Participate in special projects
