Nature of Position

The Supportive Living Worker/Community Resource Worker is responsible for empowering and supporting persons with disabilities to engage in life skills, daily activities, and social engagements of their choosing. The SLW/CRW assists each individual as a valued, contributing citizen of inclusive communities, helping participants to live successfully in their homes. The SLW/CRW ensures that individual participant’s physical, emotional, social, educational, and medical needs are being met, and supports individuals to enhance quality of life with activities of daily living, personal/perineal care, community inclusion, and the development of life skills, according to their choice.
