Education Support Worker – Central Bristol
Pay: £110–£126 per day.
Role
Work Monday to Thursday 8:30am‑4:30pm and Fridays until 3:30pm. The position is a one‑year contract with potential for permanent placement after a settling‑in period.
Responsibilities include:
- Work 1:1 or in small staff‑to‑student ratios (e.g., 2:1 or 3:1).
- Support students with SEMH, Autism (ASC), and sensory processing differences.
- Promote positive behaviour and resilience through relational, student‑led approaches.
Essential Requirements
- Experience supporting challenging behaviour in education, youth work, care, or similar fields.
- Currently living in or near Bristol, with Right to Work in the UK.
- Access to your own vehicle and business insurance.
- An Enhanced DBS for the Child Workforce on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
