Responsibilities
- Develops, reviews, and manages contracts for the provision of life support services, including catering and food rations, fuel and POL products, water supply, and other general support services, ensuring compliance with UN rules and regulations.
- Plans and prepares cost estimates, budget implications, and long-term forecasts for life support services in coordination with the Mission’s planning and budget cycles.
- Monitors implementation of life support contracts and vendor performance; ensures key performance indicators (KPIs) are met and addresses shortfalls proactively.
- Conducts market research and reviews best practices in the life support operations.
- Initiates procurement processes and maintenance in line with mission environmental sustainability guidelines.
