The importance of the supply chain and the resulting supplier management continues to increase at Airbus Defence and Space. Supply Chain Quality Management plays a decisive role here and is much more than an aviation law requirement to ensure compliance with quality requirements by our suppliers: in order to offer our customers the highest quality and provide excellent on‑time service, we also demand this from our supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Act as interface with suppliers for operational activities
• Assess suppliers during tendering phase and contribute to the selection decision
• Manage and contribute to supply chain and quality aspects of the contract, being responsible for on‑time, on‑quality (and on‑cost when applicable) performance
