**What to Expect**
**What You'll Do**
- Responsible for the development, negotiation and management of existing and developing Tesla contract manufacturing partners
- Develop, negotiate, and execute part and assembly cost strategy.
Drive continual cost reduction and avoidance initiatives through ad hoc price negotiations
- Lead the on-site management of contract manufacturing partners to manage the development builds, risk mitigation and ramp to meet Tesla's Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
Evaluate technical and business risks using data-based analysis and developing sound risk mitigation alternatives
- Oversee materials planning (Clear to build), inventory control, Excess & Obsolete (E&O) analysis and projections, New Product Material readiness, logistics readiness from Tier 2/3 companies supply Tier 1/2 companies with the parts
