Accountable for the timely arrival of the right goods and services procured locally, while ensuring relevance, efficiency and effectiveness of purchasing processes and control systems.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development and implementation of the vendor management policies and procedures.
• Manage all supplier contracts and assist in administering best pricing strategies, recommending strategies to improve quality and manage inventory levels for all products.
• Recommend enhancements for standard practices relating to requisitioning and purchasing procedures such as price determination, accreditation, and other constructive purchasing policies.
• Promptly submit adequate documents of canvassed/bidded prices for purchase orders and ensure all established procedures and guidelines are carried out, including canvassing, preparation of lead time, and monitoring delivery schedules.
