**YOUR ROLE**
- As Supplier Quality Engineer on our team: The Internal SQE is responsible for the Internal Supplier monitoring to ensure that purchased components and materials meet all quality requirements.
SQE Sr leads supplier development initiatives, manage complex / escalated quality issues, and drive continuous improvement through the supplier base to support business and customer's goals / expectations.
**In your daily job you will**:
- Main contact between Internal Supplier base and Aptiv EDS plants.
- Ensure suppliers compliance with customer specific requirements (OEM, CQI audits, etc.).
- Conduct supplier audits to assess compliance with IATF ***** and other automotive standards.
- Leads supplier audits and high-impact quality improvement initiatives.
- Supplier scorecards revision and development.
- Takes ownership of resolving high-severity supplier quality issues.
