One of the items of the Safran purchasing policy consists in providing support to suppliers in order to help them
improve their competitiveness and thus sustainably continue to meet Safran expectations.
The Supplier
Development procedure is clearly part of this framework:
- its objective is to bring about the necessary overhaul in the modes of organization, processes and practices of our
suppliers in order to produce improvements in quality, cost and deadline (QCD) performance.
It can also be applied
when business is initiated with a new supplier
