Supplier Development Engineer

This role reports directly to the Senior SDE Manager and supports EII Projects in North America for PMR (Relays Plant), Supplier Selection & Qualification projects, escalations on Supplier Quality Incidents, and leads Supplier Development activities such as Safe Launch programs, Supplier Risk Management, Continuous Improvement Plans, and Surveillance Quality System Audits.

• Conduct on‑site audits and risk assessments for new and current suppliers, working with suppliers to develop capable and stable manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with Procurement’s strategy to establish a supply base capable of meeting the requirements of various business units across the company.
• Identify critical risk suppliers, work with affected suppliers to develop and implement get‑well plans until performance improves.
