**Supplier Development Engineer**Ensure that suppliers meet the required quality standards by driving continuous improvement, defect prevention, and compliance with customer-specific requirements.Coordinate audits, root cause analysis, and corrective actions with suppliers.Support robust new product introductions and strengthen supplier capabilities to ensure product and process consistency.
**Key Responsibilities**- Qualify new suppliers in coordination with Project Buyers during the feasibility phase- Communicate applicable business and customer-specific requirements (CSR) to suppliers- Conduct supplier validation audits and support APQP implementation- Collaborate with Engineering to define process parameters and ensure supplier capability- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for supplier-related quality issues- Perform on-site visits to verify implementation of corrective actions- Develop and monitor supplier improvement plans- Identify process improvement and cos...
