SUPERVISORY BUDGET ANALYST

Summary About the Position: Incumbent serves as a Supervisory Budget Analyst for HQ US Africa Command and its subordinate organizations and is responsible for working directly with all major program managers and requirement owners across the staff to be the first financial touchpoint for all major resource activities. Responsibilities Monitor funds utilization for current and prior year budgets. Establish internal controls and audit programs for all aspects of resource management to ensure that personnel and dollars are used effectively and in accordance with governed regulations. Develop and coordinate program and resource actions with the staff to ensure proper balance between manpower, dollars and program objectives. Responsible for the preparation of budget justification statements, consolidated budget estimates, analysis of costs and preparation of funds status reports.
