First-Line Supervisor, Train Operations – Toronto, Ontario
Lead and supervise train operations across the Metrolinx system, ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer service, and coordinate with operations, maintenance, and regulatory authorities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all transportation and customer service activities comply with corporate policies, regulations, and Canadian Rail Operating Rules.
- Coordinate, direct, and supervise Train Operators to safely operate trains and provide quality service on schedule.
- Monitor train performance, address deviations, and collaborate with Metrolinx and host railway officers to ensure daily performance.
- Provide on‑job training and coaching for Train Operators; support development of follow‑up training programs.
