Supervisor, Programming & Outreach

Under the direction of the Manager, Programs & Outreach, Newmarket Public Library, the Supervisor, Program & Outreach is responsible for the supervision and coordination of library programming & outreach for Newmarket Public Library including the evaluation and oversight of all programs and outreach ensuring a diverse and varied programming. The Supervisor, Programming & Outreach is also responsible for all Xplor functionality.

Job Requirements Credentials

• Completion of an accredited Library and Information Technician or 3-5 years’ experience in a library setting or customer service/people-oriented setting, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience that is deemed necessary to successfully.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Access and internet applications.
• Class G Driver’s license in good standing is an asset.
