Supervisor, Environment

Overview

Reporting to the General Supervisor, Environment, you will be part of the Environment Department at Meadowbank Complex. You will coordinate the activities of the Meadowbank Complex Environment team and plan, organize and prepare required documentation to ensure good environmental practices in terms of site inspections, water monitoring, spills, waste, wildlife management and new environmental projects.

Responsibilities

• Efficient operation of the department through supervision of the technicians and management of consultants for environmental programs and reporting;
• Provide essential participation and assistance in field execution of all required environmental work and provide guidance to the team members;
• Production of weekly/monthly reports and participation in annual report preparation, writing and review;
