Supervisor, Accounting, General Ledger

Overview
The Supervisor, Accounting & General Ledger, will work closely with other members of the Finance organization, especially members of the FP&A, Corporate Tax, Corporate Accounting and Regional Shared Service teams.
The Team Lead is responsible for managing the AC/AT general ledger department, which performs all the month end close steps associated with services, production, and selling entities.
Additionally, this group supports the AC/AT Business and global joint venture accounting (e.g. Fairway, etc.).
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage general US GAAP accounting function, including but not limited to: inventory, cash, intercompany, accruals, joint venture accounting, etc.
Lead a team of up to 6 general ledger analysts that perform the month end close for all Acetyl Chain and Acetate Tow entities
Primary accounting lead on any accounting issues encountered by plant controllers, FP&A, customer experience, supply chain, etc.
