About the Role
Northampton Children's Trust is seeking an experienced, passionate, and motivated Supervising Social Worker to join our dedicated Post Approval Team. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in supporting our foster carers and ensuring that children and young people receive high-quality, safe, and stable care placements where they can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Hold a caseload of approved foster carers, providing regular supervision, guidance, and support.
- Contribute to the duty system and work collaboratively with the Placements Team to identify suitable placements.
- Undertake assessments to understand the needs of children, young people, and families.
- Regularly visit foster carers, children, and families to provide advice, support, and interventions.
