Oversee geotechnical activities to ensure ground stability and operational safety.
As Part Of Our Team You Will
- Facilitate the formulation, maintenance, and execution of strategic Geotechnical plans to enhance the operation's slope stability program and deliver mine plans.
- Deliver, implement, and assess mine design parameters for current and future pit, waste dumps, and other facilities on the mine.
- Coordinate geotechnical instrumentation monitoring, data collection activities, structural mapping and geotechnical analysis.
- Execute geotechnical project drilling, mapping, and laboratory tests to anticipate any changes which may affect the geotechnical risk profile of the mining area.
- Coordinate the continuous monitoring of pit walls through visual inspections and instrumentation to for warn any potential instabilities.
