Responsibilities

• Based in Rio, Brazil, reporting to the Manager, Technical in Singapore, matrix report to the SSAV Country Head in Brazil.
• Local lead of technical for SSAVs, responsible for overseeing daily technical operations and team.
• Supervisory responsibilities to the Superintendent, Technical.
• Support management in the development and implementation of technical policies for SSAVs.
• This includes overseeing the daily operations of maintenance and repair, budgeting, survey schedules, onboard general assessment of vessels, inspections, and docking, etc.
• Ensure the assigned vessels are technically operational or otherwise managed accordingly to the management agreement requirement.
• Liaise with vendors and operation/marketing teams on technical and operational readiness, including vessel performance, etc.
