Substation Engineer, Electrical

About the Position

We are currently seeking a Substation Engineer to support the execution and development of electric utility infrastructure projects across the United States while being based in our Bogotá, Colombia office . This role will focus on the design and implementation of substation protection and control systems, supporting projects ranging from distribution through transmission voltage levels.

The ideal candidate will have experience developing substation protection and control designs, performing electrical engineering calculations, and preparing construction deliverables for U.S.-based utility projects. Success in this position requires a strong understanding of relay protection schemes, substation design standards, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
