Study Abroad City Manager - Adult Learners Program

Sage Corps is seeking two city managers for its Encore Barcelona program (October 2026, March and October 2027). Encore is a one-month, upscale study abroad program for adults ages 55 and older. This part-time/temporary contract position will require approximately 6-8 hours of work per week over four weeks with some ramp-up work in advance. All candidates MUST commit to be living in Barcelona during the program dates at all times. Please do not apply if you will not be living in Barcelona during the months of March and October.

Responsibilities include:

• Act as local contact, resource, and chaperone for a cohort of 15 study abroad participants, ages 55-75, mostly from the United States
• Act as liaison (helpful but not required) between Sage Corps and local housing provider, our local university partner, and local guides.
