Structured Cabling Technician – Saint John, NB
The Structured Cabling Technician will be responsible for executing structured cabling projects as well as projects in the security and fibre optic space. This role supports our team in and around the Saint John, NB region and requires personal transportation to the Saint John shop.
All candidates must be eligible and willing to obtain Government of Canada Security Clearance: Reliability Status and/or Secret Security Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Installation of structured cabling (CAT 5E, CAT 6, and others) and fiber optics according to requirements.
- Label cables according to defined standards.
- Perform necessary tests after installation and make required corrections.
- Maintain strong customer relations through daily contact with customers.
- Install new services, extra outlets and equipment in commercial buildings.
