Job Description
- To inspect construction works with a focus on structural elements, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant codes/standards
- To monitor and verify the quality of materials used (e.g., concrete, reinforcement steel) and workmanship on site
- To ensure all structural works meet safety, statutory, and environmental requirements
- To identify, document, and report any non-conformance, defects, or quality issues, and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- To coordinate with contractors, consultants, and site teams to resolve technical and quality-related issues
- To witness and record key construction activities, including reinforcement installation, formwork, and concrete pouring
- To review method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and shop drawings related to structural works
