Context
The Structural Engineer will be performing structural engineering calculations, modeling, and analysis.
Missions/Main Duties
- Perform structural engineering calculations, modeling and analysis;
- Solve problems of moderate to high level complexity in accordance with project requirements;
- Ensure safety, constructability and cost effectiveness of the design;
- Understand applicable codes and specifications;
- Coordinate with different disciplines such as Architectural and MEPF;
- Report necessary information to immediate supervisor/manager.
Profile/Skills
- Knowledge of discipline local and international codes (NSCP, PD 1096, DPWH DGCS, ACI, AISC, ASCE, UBC, AASHTO, BS EN, etc.) or project specific standards, specifications, design criteria and construction methodology;
- Knowledgeable with MIDAS, ETABS, STAAD or equivalent structural software for analysis and design.
