With high-level goals provided, the candidate will lead teams to provide structural analyses, design, and final bridge construction plans for prestressed concrete, reinforced concrete, and structural steel bridges according to the latest TDOT and AASHTO design criteria. The candidate will also lead teams to provide bridge inspection, structural analysis, and final bridge repair plans and Bridge Load Ratings in accordance with TDOT and AASHTO design specifications. Extensive experience with producing final bridge construction and/or repair plans for TDOT as well as bridge load ratings experience required for this position. Directs the development of models, drawings, and specifications. Able to arrange/layout structural systems and elements for strength, stability, constructability, and construction economy.
