Sedgman is looking for an intermediate Structural Designer to join our team in our Vancouver, BC office. The ideal candidate will have experience producing 2D drawings and 3D models of steel and concrete structures used in mining (including conveyor galleries, crusher stations, process plants, and building structures). This individual translates conceptual designs from structural engineers into constructable technical plans that meet safety standards, structural engineering principles, and industry codes. They will work closely with mechanical, civil, and electrical teams on EPCM projects and be involved in the entire design process.
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate detailed structural drawings (plans, elevations, sections) and 3D models using Autodesk Advance Steel, AutoCAD, or other industrial software.
