Responsibilities
- Lead a team to complete the design analysis of CANDU reactor components, systems and structures including mechanical equipment.
- Perform engineering calculations to support design of nuclear pressure boundary components.
- Prepare formal technical reports.
- Review design documents, calculations, and analysis reports.
- Prepare engineering budgets and support proposal preparation.
- Execute engineering activities within budget and schedule.
- Provide accurate reporting of engineering work to technical and project managers.
- Provide prompt response and engineering resolutions on any critical engineering related matters.
- Carry out engineering work following AtkinsRéalis/Candu Energy Quality Assurance programs, applicable codes, standards and regulatory requirements.
