TNO Energy & Materials Transition (EMT) develops innovations for a sustainable, carbon-neutral and circular society. With around 1, colleagues divided into four divisions and 19 research groups, EMT combines deep scientific expertise, world-class research facilities and strong public-private partnerships to accelerate the energy and materials transition. The unit’s work spans sustainable energy systems, CO₂-neutral industry, circular materials, the safe use of the subsurface and system solutions that help governments and industry make informed choices for a future-proof sustainable and resilient economy.
