Primary responsibility as a Strategic Sourcing Analyst (III) is to develop and implement sourcing strategies working with cross-functional partners to meet sourcing and cost savings results. Work is of a complex nature involving a considerable amount of initiative, analytical work, and a high level of independent judgment. Individual must exhibit the ability to problem solve and implement innovative strategies related to cost savings and process/operations improvement in assigned commodities. Assigned commodities are within the Human Resources function (supporting TE’s purpose of creating a sustainable environment)
- Responsible for sourcing/negotiations utilizing the sourcing process (RFP, Proposal/Cost Analysis, and Source Selection) to establish a capable/competitive global supply base.
