PRIMARY FUNCTION:
To take control of all deliveries and issuing of equipment and materials.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performing activities to monitor and maintain inventory control of merchandise or material, receiving of incoming and outgoing shipments in accordance with documentation issued.
- Evaluation of inventory levels, identifying stock items and managing the replenishing hereof.
- To prepare an action plan together with the management team on reducing the current warehouse stock.
- Ensure the receiving process of all stock is managed and recorded and communicated to the interested parties.
- To co-ordinate the packing of Project orders as per delivery notes. In the case of exports, the requirement for pre-shipment inspections may be necessary as well as specialized packing may be required from time to time.
