Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain enterprise storage platforms (SAN, NAS, or scale-out systems)
- Provision project and home storage, quotas, and access controls
- Manage snapshots, restores, and data integrity scans
- Monitor capacity and performance, and report on trends and risks
- Run failover and recovery exercises to verify resilience
- Operate backup, archival, and tiering workflows (e.g. tape / HSM)
- Apply vendor advisories and remediation tasks per runbook
