A leading structural steel specialist is currently looking for a permanent Steel Detailer (Hot Rolled) to create and develop 3D structural models, produce fabrication and site installation drawings, and liaise with design teams and fabricators in West Midlands.
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum (DOE)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday - Friday)
Duties
- Create and develop 3D structural models in Tekla Structures/StruCAD
- Produce and issue general arrangement drawings, fabrication/shop drawings, and site installation drawings
- Issue supporting CAM/NC data to fabrication in accordance with internal procedures
- Generate accurate material lists and bolt schedules
- Liaise with contract design teams, fabricators, and steel installers
- Provide supporting details during the fabrication and erection process
