Responsibilities
- Partner with Demand Planning BU Leads to ensure that the statistical forecasting solution effectively address the needs for the BU and further provides business insights & learnings.
- Conducts post performance forecast analytics to determine root cause of performance gaps and generate hypotheses to implement the optimal corrective actions.
- Conduct causal factor analytics to determine the most optimal factors that should be incorporated into the forecasting solution.
- Support hypothesis development and test execution to continuously refine the statistical forecasting engine.
- This may result in SAS HPF parameter tuning and/or code development.
- Assists in developing reporting capability to provide proactive alert notification for demand planning end users as well as insights for other stakeholders.
