Station Manager- YVR (Full-time)

General Job Summary

The Station Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of freight shipments. Must manage people, processes and systems and make sure all operating and productivity targets are met. The Station Manager also oversees the maintenance of warehouse and labour-management systems. The incumbent must maintain and enforce the workplace health and safety standards.

Principle Functions/Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and/or outbound activities
• Adhere to load departure schedules, and co-ordinate warehouse manpower and equipment to meet the requirements
• Maintain effective relationships with customers and staff
• Interface with customers to avoid, and if necessary, solve problems
