- Maneuvering and placing baggage, cargo, and mail into aircraft or vehicles and removing it.
- Sorting, organizing, and securing items to prevent damage or loss during transport.
- Using tools and equipment such as container dollies, pallet jacks, and potentially forklifts to move items.
- Adhering to all company, airport, and airline health, safety, and security regulations.
- Verifying shipments against delivery paperwork and reporting any damaged or missing items.
- Keeping the work area clean and tidy.
- Collaborating with and assisting equipment operators and other ground staff as needed.
- Performing basic cleaning tasks within aircraft cabins.
