Staff Software Engineer, Core Transfer Experience

The Core Transfer Experience team owns the systems and product surfaces that power frictionless cross‑border transfers for millions of Remitly customers. From the moment a customer initiates a transfer to the moment funds arrive, our team delivers an experience that is fast, reliable, and trusted across 5,300+ corridors, removing friction at every step of the journey. What makes this team unique is that we operate in two capacities simultaneously: as a product team, delivering the core transfer experience directly to customers, and as a foundations team, building the platform capabilities that regional and product teams across Remitly depend on to serve their own customers and markets. Getting both right and keeping them in sync is one of the defining engineering challenges of this role.
