Staff Nurse I (NUHS@Home)*

The nurse provides nursing care to patients who require acute medical treatment but who are able to be cared for in their homes rather than in a hospital. The nurse works in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, monitor patient progress, and educate patients and their families on self-care techniques. The nurse is competent in performing care assessment and planning, and in the management of patients with identified care needs. S/He provides clinical supervision, precepts the junior nurses and contributes to nursing training.
