Staff Mechanical Engineer, NPI – San Jose, CA

This position reports to the Sr. Director, Reliability Engineering and will be based in San Jose, CA with approximately 30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage new NPI project transfers to Bloom Manufacturing and CM's.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with cross‑functional teams and external vendors.
• Work with product development to provide Design For Manufacturing (DFM) design and final testing improvements.
• Develop, manage and update process PFMEAs for new or modified processes and equipment.
• Develop part and assembly drawings, SolidWorks CAD models, and ePDM documentation.
• Design tools and test fixtures for plumbing/mechanical assemblies.
• Lead the mechanical team.
