The Opportunity

Electrical Engineer – Nuclear Power Systems. This full‑time, contract‑hire position supports the global nuclear program at Black & Veatch and is located in Markham, Ontario, Canada. The incumbent will function as a Technical Specialist or Project Lead, providing guidance and expertise over project teams in the design and operation of nuclear plant facilities. Key Responsibilities

Develop design change packages and deliver electrical drawings such as one‑line and three‑line diagrams, motor schematics, breaker control schematics, wiring diagrams, and power cable sizing schedules. Perform complex engineering calculations, including load flow, short circuit, motor starting with ETAP or SKM, arc‑flash analysis, protective relay settings, and battery and charger sizing.
